A warm welcome.
Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Lucy and I am a jewellery designer based in Worcestershire. I'm at my most content when I'm drawing, painting, designing or forging in my workshop. I ran a very successful award winning bridal accessory business for several years, re-purposing vintage jewellery before moving away from the wedding scene to explore other avenues of creativity. I've always been drawn to vintage pieces and antiques because of the potential stories they hold. This love of storytelling naturally found its way into my own creative journey, inspiring me to craft jewellery that goes beyond simple aesthetics. Each piece I design is a story retold, whether it's inspired by nature, heritage or personal experiences. I believe that jewellery should carry meaning, evoke feelings and become a part of someone's own journey.
Wildwood Collection
Here you can find my latest collection. They are my own way of story telling and reflect personal memories and experiences often inspired by nature.
Shop All Jewellery
Mainly forged from recycled sterling silver and brass, many of my designs are made as one-offs or in very small batches. Whilst I pour my heart into each design, they are not intended to be perfection but more expressive mini pieces of art with all the imperfections and beauty that such materials hold whilst still maintaining quality and individuality.
Jewellery Care Guide
Keep your jewellery looking its best with these simple care tips:
Sterling Silver:
-
Clean Regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a silver polishing cloth to gently buff your silver jewellery. For heavier tarnish, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied with a soft cloth, then rinsed and dried thoroughly.
-
Store Properly: Keep silver jewellery in a cool, dry place. Use anti-tarnish pouches or cloth bags to reduce exposure to air.
-
Avoid Chemicals: Remove jewellery before applying lotions, perfumes, or cleaning products.
-
Professional Cleaning: For intricate or heavily tarnished pieces, consider professional cleaning by a jeweller to restore shine.
Brass:
-
Regular Cleaning: Clean with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Use a soft cloth to gently scrub, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
-
Prevent Tarnish: Store in zip-lock bags or airtight jewellery boxes to minimize exposure to air and moisture.
-
Avoid Chemicals: Remove jewellery before applying lotions, perfumes, or cleaning products.
-
Polishing: For a high shine, consider using a brass polish. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and test on a small area first.
Note: Regular wear can help maintain the shine of your jewellery, as natural oils from your skin can keep metals polished.
